SVG Secretary
Drishna is a tireless worker who feels passionate about our community outreach work. She brings to us a high level of technical expertise as well as her zeal to grow the organization by her constant recruitment. She is a valued member of our team.
Janell George
SVG Chairperson
Janell brings a wealth of experience from her years at the leadership level at several prominent social organizations in SVG. Janell is the focal point around which our programs are centered. Our organization is fortunate to have someone with the expertise, the contacts and the knowledge that she brings to us.
Laferne Thomas
President.
Laferne is the founder of our organization. She has strong connections to her community and a burning desire to help people who are less fortunate. She is the glue that binds the organization together and devotes a significant amount of her time and resources to the success of our initiatives. She leads by example.
Ann Marie Charles
NY Secretary
Ann-Marie is our hard working Secretary in New York. She is always ready with innovative ideas in every situation. She belongs to an important core of persons who represents the lifeblood of our organization, and is one of our most reliable members.
Laverne Jackson
SVG Treasurer
Laverne is truly one of our special members. She brings a world of experience from her many years as a Church Leader. Her extraordinary culinary skills all always on offer to the organization whenever they are required, whether it is a social event or whether it is to raise much needed funds. Laverne is one of the most dependable members of our organization, and we are blessed to have her.
Paulette Taylor
NY Treasurer
Paulette is one of the founding members of our organization whose philanthropic work began long before her acquaintance with President Laferne Thomas which resulted in the formation of this organization. The remarkable thing is that Paulette has no connection to SVG. Her heritage is Jamaican, but her interest and contributions to the efforts in St Vincent exceeds many persons who do have connections. Paulette is one of the more dependable members of our organization and is truly an asset.
